Stiles taps senior strategist Caitlin Pettifor to be next Chief of Staff

QUEEN’S PARK - Marit Stiles, Leader of the Official Opposition, is appointing Caitlin Pettifor, a campaign veteran and senior strategist to Premier Rachel Notley and Premier Wab Kinew, as her new Chief of Staff. She brings with her a culture of winning and experience in governing.

Pettifor has over ten years of campaign experience delivering historic NDP victories across Canada, including the Alberta NDP’s 2015 win, the Manitoba NDP’s return to government in 2023 and she worked on the Ontario NDP’s 2018 breakthrough campaign.

“Our goal is to defeat Doug Ford and elect a New Democratic government right here in Ontario. That is what Caitlin will be focused on,” said Stiles.

Caitlin Pettifor is currently serving at the Director-level in Premier Wab Kinew’s office and will be starting her role as Marit Stiles’ Chief of Staff in November.
